Covid-19 Information

Our priority is the health and safety of our community.

The College is monitoring the ongoing coronavirus situation and following advice from the UK government and NHS. Check this webpage as it will be your main source of information about our response and methods to protect everyone during this period.

Our campus has been opened since the start of the new academic year in September 2020. We have in place social distancing and hygiene measures on campus in line with the Government and the NHS safety measures to create an atmosphere that is as safe and secure as possible for all students. The library and other social and facilities are open, subject to relevant social distancing rules.

Teaching is currently a mix of face-to-face with online provision, and you can be sure both your face-to-face and online experience will be of the highest quality. Details of how each module will be taught will be on the individual module sites on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Platform. All online lectures will be made through Skype and all attendance taken. All students will need to register their attendance for the taught sessions (either face-to-face or online) via the VLE. That way we will be able to make sure you are able to engage with your studies or if you need any support. Also, all teaching material for your modules will be available on the relevant VLE site. It will be important though that you do not come into the College building except if it is an emergency or if you are summoned to.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, have had a positive test result, if a member of your household has been tested positive to coronavirus, or are otherwise required to self-isolate, please let us know using the relevant procedure on this page. It is important the University is aware as soon as possible of all cases of COVID-19 in our community of staff, students and visitors, as well as those with symptoms or who are required to self-isolate. As a student or staff, you are required to notify the college administration by filling the COVID-19 Reporting Form below as per UK government guidelines. Thus, you must self-isolate until you have your test results.
