Studying for less than Six Months

If you are coming to study for six months or less, you can choose to come to the UK on a student visitor visa rather than a student visa. However, we still recommend that you still apply for a student visa as there are more restrictions on ‘student visitors’:

You must also:

intend to leave the UK at the end of your studies; and have been offered a place of study at an institution included on the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills’ Register of Education and Training Providers. ASC is included on this list.
